I don't need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, OS, PSU (It's a 450 watt corsair, I could replace it but would rather not), optical drive or speakers as I already have these. I don't want to spend more than £500 pounds and I would like to be able to run MW2 on medium if possible.
Lemme see what I can cook up

Slightly under budget, but then that means you can spend the extra 100£ on other stuff,

Notes:
I chose the triple core as it was 5£ different from the dual core version, and that extra core will come in handy when more games have multicore support, this rig will max out most games, including MW2. You can change the ram to a 2x2GB DDR3 set and the CPU to a Phenom II x4 AM3 if you want a little more oomph
I will make another list that uses all £500 if you wish to see what difference there will be
Yeah that looks pretty good, could you give me a link?
Also it looks like I don't need a new PSU after all so I don't need that in the build

it comes with the case, ill change the case to something a little "flashier" so you can reuse your PSU with it.
Ill get the links in a sec

Get more ram, 3 gb minimum, srsly 2gb is a bit low. Go safe with 3

And you dont need 1tb hdd

Athlons channel ram in sets of 2, i.e. 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB. It's much more efficient to use 2 than 3. Only i7s channel ram in 3s.

This slaps me on the knee.
"We will never need 100 gb hdd's!, we will never need 250 gb hdd's!, we will never need 500gb hdd's!, we will never need 1tb hdd's!."
And guess what? We needed them all.

I really need a 1TB. I do a lot of downloading and like to have all my games installed on the same drive.
160GBs just doesn't cut it for me.
I have 3 hard drives totalling 650GB and I need more space.
I wish I had the money to RAID 0 these.

Its better to get like 2x500gb HDD instead of 1x1TB and raid them. Or do what i do. 1 SDD for boot and 1 720 for files 'n shit :P

How is 500GBs in RAID 0 better than 2TB is RAID 0?
Please explain your logic.
OP what is the PSU that you want to reuse?
450 watt corsair
The +12V rails are on the weak side for a 5770 but it should be ok as this is a low end build.
Okay this is my final list of parts which I will be ordering, look okay?

Yeah looks ok to me, though the 5770 and RAM are out of stock. You might want to consider this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-120-OK&utm_source=froogle
Or this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-143-XF
Instead of the 5770. Both are faster, but the 4890 is considerably faster than the 5770. Only problem is your PSU is a bit lacking for a 4890.
