I want this, so much.
It's a decent game. It gets boring after a few rounds and still has a few balancing issues from the alpha still.
Severely disappointing, but it's okay.
I played the beta last week and it was incredibly disappointing. It was just about as fun as CS:S zombie mod with dinosaur skins.
I feel like the only person who wasn't bitterly disappointed when I played the beta. Although it lacks a lot of content and has a lot of bugs which need straightening out, but I was kind of hoping that would all be fixed by the time it was released.

Still feels like it's in alpha.
Incredibly lacking in features and variety. It's basically any generic deatmatch game in existence with an interesting twist that loses all it's fun after 3 rounds. It has a lot of potential but isn't even using 1% of it. I've played it through two sessions and I still haven't managed to tick in an hour of gameplay with it. I am amazed it went out of beta at this stage, seeing as I last played the beta just 2 days ago.
They released too early, although they did say new objective-oriented gamemodes are on the way. I agree they're leaving a lot of potential laying about, it won't do them any good for the first press reviews. There's still plenty of performance issues though. Frame freezing being my biggest problem. It freezes up a split second at intervals. Makes stuff feel jittery.
When I was playing the beta, I loved shooting hurrdurr raptors with my net gun, and then feeding them full of bullets with my dual pistols.
Hell I love it It's Humans versus Dinosaurs I mean I can fully understand the performance issues but I think it's honestly all we need I mean Humans versus Dinosaurs I mean how is that not cool/fun as fuck even if it might have balancing issues etc etc

This game is awesome at its core. The human and dinosaur classes are well thought out. And the experience of fleeing from a rampaging T-Rex or being that rampaging T-Rex, is unique for this game. Too bad the lack of meaningful gamemodes and performance issues which should've been ironed out in the beta is raining on the parade right now.
My biggest issue is that they got rid of so many awesome features. Like the Pathfinder having a Dog to hunt things, Compsognathus being a playable horde, Spinosaurus and Sarcosuchus. But instead, they gave us a buggy, sloppy and rushed game.
This game is extremely generic with a severe lack of content and the devs are awful with their community, so don't expect much from the promises of more content. Wouldn't recommend spending money on this at all.
Yep..
I still don't have my key for being on the original QA team (which everyone was promised), was suppose to be getting it today but with how "organized" they are I probably won't be getting it anytime soon. I'm even in the credits and I only want the game to see that :( [editline]29th October 2012[/editline] But the hilariously op rex would be fun to mess too since they haven't balanced much since alpha.
Rex isn't OP, though. Nobody really is. The Trapper to me has to be the most OP if I had to choose just one, as I spent a good 2 minutes stalking one, pounce him, mauling him, but I suddenly get netted by the Trapper I pounced. A bug, but makes me hate Trapper even more. They fixed a lot from Beta, and the guy behind it, Ashton Anderson, plays in random servers with us. He said there will be a patch Friday that will fix more bugs, and he said weekly patches. This went hell of a lot better than Orion Dino Beatdown, you guys have to admit.
Hah, yes it. It you're able to get a rex before the cap you'll never have a negative k/d ratio whether you win or lose. It takes no skill to be a rex.
Well I bought Orion Dino Beatdown some time back and only played it once because it was so shit, and Dino D-Day has a pathetically small playerbase so... what's this game got? Is it actively played? Is it even fun to play? Buggy? I don't know, I'm getting dino diarrhea just thinking about all these failed Dino games.
It's pretty much still in it's alpha/beta stage. It feels like it was rushed and released way to early.
Hah, yes it. It you're able to get a rex before the cap you'll never have a negative k/d ratio whether you win or lose. It takes no skill to be a rex.
It does take skill. You stomp in, commandos, Scientists, Trappers, and Pyros will smoke your ass. The Rex is a Tank/Ambush class, and provides buffs to the other Dinos, so if you run in alone, you're dead. The Rex is slow and clunky, when sprinting you cannot turn well, and a net on your head disables your bite. I've been playing tons of matches where people hog the Rex, and all they do is run in and get themselves killed. So if you can go 20-0 as a Rex, good for you. That means you're playing it right.
This game really wasn't ready to be released out of beta yet. Hope there's a big update to fix balance and sound issues soon.
Operation Genesis is still basically the only remotely decent dinosaur game on the PC it seems.

Recent dinosaur game that is. I would kill for a Carnivores remake. No health regen or QTEs though, please.

is this the game that people could have payed for years ago running on some super good engine? I think I bought this ages ago then, better check my emails
It was originally on the Cry Engine or something iirc.
yeah my old ISP issued email I don't use anymore is filled emails from PrimalCarnage.com :v: They said my key is coming "soon" I payed like $15 to them for this game and such in like 2009 or something
