Cool character design.
I hate the fact that a suck so much at fighting game that I can't enjoy playing one. I would like so much to enjoy all the character design, the details and the animation of this game without biting the dust. Still, I bought Skullgirls and I can't wait to suck at playing Eliza.

oh neat hopefully I don't forget to download it, like I did with big band...

Go on websites like Shoryuken.com and look at guides on basic 2d fighting mechanics, find friends who would be able to teach you basics, look at videos, etc. People who actually care about fighting games become at least decent at them no matter what because they play them enough. This is why fighting games are the anti-casual genre, because you can't really be casual and still enjoy them to a higher extent unless its like Mortal Kombat or some shit.

You aren't going to learn an instrument in a week, you aren't going to be a starcraft pro in a week, you aren't going to be fluent in a language in a week. Things take time.
I play it mostly offline during summer, where I don't have access to a real Internet. (I finished Bioshock Infinite at 100% without any hours on Steam). I think I have about 50h of gameplay. I know it takes dedication to be good at fighting game. I tried playing them for a year with Injustice and Skullgirls, because I wanted to be good at these game because I loved them. I know how much time I should invest in these games to be good, but I don't have them at the moment. I don't suck that much, but beside some low level bots and my inexperienced friends, I can't face the core of the fighting game community. Thanks FP for the tips (especially the link), my comment was exaggerated to praise Skullgirls and how much I love their art.

My friends watch me play CSGO all the time, doesn't mean they get a solid grasp of it.
