On Saturday night, my computer had to restart to finish installing some Visual Studio stuff that was required for some tools. When the computer tried to start up again, the monitor tried to automatically find the input I use(HDMI) and then said that there was no signal despite it looking like the computer had started up completely fine. I've been fucking around with a lot of stuff and it seems rather inconsistent; sometimes the monitor will receive signal and everything will be fine and other times it won't receive signal.
So far I've tried:
Replacing the current HDMI cable
Using a different monitor which had to use VGA input
Unplugging everything and plugging it back in
Clearing the PC of dust(this is done regularly, but I did it anyways)
I removed my graphics card and plugged my HDMI cable into the motherboard instead and the problem still persists
Removing the RAM and putting it back in
Clearing CMOS(I think I did this correctly, but I'm not exactly experienced with messing around with this stuff)
I thought it was very unlikely that it would be the issue, but I uninstalled Visual Studio anyways
Currently, I have the plan to reseat the CPU, but I'm currently waiting for thermal paste to arrive so I can actually do that. I'm wondering if anyone has any other ideas that might solve the problem or at least help me figure out what exactly is fucked up with my PC.

I just noticed a new issue that seems to have started today: occasionally my screen goes black for a second and then goes back to normal. Might have something to do with the issue I'm currently having so I figure it's worth mentioning.
Have you checked display drivers?
This happened to me. I have three monitors and the third shut off when I turned the computer off one day and never came back. I could only get it to work randomly by plugging it in, unplugging it multiple times over and over until by a miracle it would work again.
I tried replacing cables a dozen times with different setups. Nothing worked.
My solution was to get the monitor to come back after fussing with it and then never shut the computer down ever again.
Yeah.

My bad, forgot to mention, but this was one of the first things I tried doing.

This is pretty much what I'm doing except I'm able to somewhat reliably start the computer after it's been off for a few hours. So far, nothing has gone wrong, but I'm still rather curious about what was causing my issues.
