Just how long would it take for them to whitelist EVERY site that's been wrongly censored?
This is stupid. They should use a blacklist if they insist on blocking sites.

BT block all HTTP requests with "sex" in the name.

So probably quite some time before they worked all of that out.

Its cheaper this way around, although I am not sure what made them think it was a good idea to deploy the system in its current state.

I'd be seriously offended if I was a father and lived in the UK. Measures like these are the same as saying that you can't do your job as a parent well enough.

Now if any of the unblocked websites will have inappropriate pages they will also have to add a blacklist to the blacklist's whitelist.
How about not blocking the internet period
