Well people who play AAA modern shooters are so used to invisible walls already, a few more can't hurt :)
This explains some interesting missed shots I had in BF4, I always thought it was my fault.
how does a developer not notice completely upright hitboxes on a prone player? aren't they visible in debug mode???

There is also a wall in the crashed ship on Hainan resort which has no collisions so you can hide inside it like a cupboard and shoot people outside of it. I've been playing the game for months and it's yet to be fixed. Complete bullshit.
how does a developer not notice completely upright hitboxes on a prone player? aren't they visible in debug mode???
After the catastrophe that is Battlefield 4's launch took place, I'm not surprised the dev's are incompetent enough to not notice something simple like that.
Huh, I only played BF4 for the first time today, and that explains the strange invisible cylinder I ran into after spawning near a dead guy. I could run around both sides and back, but I could not step onto that part of dirt, it was odd.
As far as i know, a shitty Early Access game on steam has less bugs than BF4.
how does a developer not notice completely upright hitboxes on a prone player? aren't they visible in debug mode???
probably broken by a hotfix for something else, rather than a patch that underwent actual testing
how does a developer not notice completely upright hitboxes on a prone player? aren't they visible in debug mode???
Its serverside, the client calculations are all correct.
Maybe this was done on purpose?
Its serverside, the client calculations are all correct.
Obviously they have a debug mode on the server too. Unless they're fucking idiots, which is not impossible.
Glad i switched to playing CS Go.
DICE sucks
The hell happened? BF3 wasn't this bad.
The hell happened? BF3 wasn't this bad.
It was still terribly unbalanced, had an awful business model and one of the worse unlock progression systems I've ever seen, they even acknowledged that it was bad.

this is why BFP4F is the superior multiplayer battlefield experience
Aerowix 18 Minutes ago This game will be out of beta state just before BF5 releases. And then all over again.
Lol.
As far as i know, a shitty Early Access game on steam has less bugs than BF4.
Yeah, and far fewer things going on.
