I mean fuck I'd do it this is how you ruin a game lmao
Seriously though, go single in a First Person squad game and kill everyone AFK. Die, then repeat. It's an easy 1-300 Points per round without actually finishing a round in 1st
Get rid of shitty microtransactions then we're fine, or just remove the fucking market aspect of the items you get, it's ridiculous.

It's all community market, except for the Gamescom keys, but that's over now and was meant to provide the prize pool with extras going to charity.

I wonder if this is a bannable offense
does seeing someone in a different outfit than you derive so much from the gameplay experience?
He said the market, not the outfits themselves. And I can understand that, customisation is always nice but I hate how it's turned into a currency.
[vid]https://fi1.es/bjs0V[/vid]
Well that was easy
The impact of the skirts is blown out of proportion. There's been piles of people going afk in the plane for weeks now. It's been happening since before I started playing. And since someone always slaughters the AFK players they don't even get shit for points. Normal players(even bad ones) earn way more points than the "farmers".

The most hilarious thing about this is the fact people are AFKing using thin clients, you can tell these out because they're in an unkillable disconnected state. The clients just spam lobbies then disconnect via packet blocking, the game doesn't register if they're already in a lobby or not so they then just re-queue right after, basically meaning you can see one AFKer in every lobby you play in because it just spams the play button essentially. Genius.
Also if TF2 is anything to go by these items will only plummet in price. Eventually, anyways.
does seeing someone in a different outfit than you derive so much from the gameplay experience?
Oh get the fuck out with these excuses already. People have some nerve to talk about these being only a 'cosmetics thing' when they affect people's way of playing the game. Community made items (or maps if devs even let people do that anymore...) are fine, but for the love of this damn industry, why does every premium MP game have to have some kind of microtransaction or economy hamfisted into it. I'm so bloody sick of it, I don't want to see some shitty 'pay to unlock' crap in every game I play because then what is even the point of grinding for it? "Oh it's to skip the tedious parts!" - matey then what the fuck is even the point of putting it in the game if it's not fun? Pay to fucking "cheat" the grind. God what a ripoff.

But fo real tho cosmetic is one of the least concerned in game business evil. So just let it slide (for now) because at least it isn't paid guns.
Whoa m8 calm down
Sorry for going overboard there. It's just annoying to see people still defend this. I don't want these sort of elements in priced games to be the norm. I mean yeah, I get it. These in particular are not paid guns, but then look at games like Shadow of War and Fallout 4. They're trying to add all these paywalls (with FO4 having these ridiculous pricetags to boot) to SP games as well. Clearly nothing will stop companies if people stay quiet about all this.
does seeing someone in a different outfit than you derive so much from the gameplay experience?
You mean like AFK players that are you know... not playing the game? You know like the thread title says
