My CPU is a 955 be OC'd to 3.8ghz, it has been for a month since I've got it, and it never did this before up until recently.
And my RAM sits at 3360 mb's used even when nothing is running.
My CPU jumps up to 50-60 degrees, normally around 45 when it's idle, but why the fuck is my ram getting eaten up so bad?
And just now it decreased again to only 4% CPU usage, and 1gb of used ram.
Can anyone help?
Check the task manager, see whats using the most RAM.

Firefox, using 69mb ram...
Your ram usage is high because windows 7 (which I assume you're using (and if you're not, what's wrong with you)) uses free ram to cache often used applications to make them open faster.

I'm using 7, but is that really the problem, cause my CPU temps going up this far is a completely new thing.
