I think it's funny that they ask you (Online) to say that you have no internet.
I did wonder why I started hitting as low as 0.20mbps or sometimes losing all connection for no reason at all...
Many users took to Twitter to complain that the company is not answering its helpline.
what
The internet in my area was cut off a few days ago for about 20 hours, this is probably why.
what
3G from phones, probably.
It's a good thing I've got Sky broadband. :downs:
It's a good thing I've got Sky broadband. :downs:
The first and only time I'll ever agree with that.
It's a good thing I've got Sky broadband. :downs:
BT still owns all the internet cables in the UK :v:
Might explain why my internet's been a crock of shit this past week.
Didn't notice anything, but that's probably because I'm used to my internet randomly deciding to die, my router randomly restarting and not allowing programs and crashing when I play quite a few games online. If they offer you a BT Homehub... Don't.
I swear that nearly all of our ISPs here are total crap.
Ah, I am with BT and a couple of days ago my connection went from 4 bars to 2 and has been ever since
I don't know if BT has anything to do with my local exchange (I assume they do), but got damn, I've been losing like whole days of internet at a time, it just goes offline midday and doesn't come back on until I'm about to go to bed.
Wasn't this a week or two ago?
I swear that nearly all of our ISPs here are total crap.
It is not easy to satisfy customer as ISP.
Unfortunately I had no way to check their website which said that the internet was going to be offline for several hours, because the internet was offline!
I swear that nearly all of our ISPs here are total crap.
I remember BT always being pretty bad when my dad used them. But at home we've been using Telewest which became Blueyonder which is now part of Virgin, and Virgin is nice and fast and only very occasionally goes down.
Wasn't this a week or two ago?
No it was today, hence why they're reporting on it today and mention times of, surprise, today.
There are two infrastructures. BT's copper infrastructure (Slowly being converted to fibre) and Virgin Media's fibre infrastructure.
So many ISPs are cheap these days, makes me sad. They never upgrade their lines and don't bother to keep the existing ones in a working condition.
It is not easy to satisfy customer as ISP.
IF you actually regularly upgrade and service your system, it is. BUT if you're just money hoarding, then it's another story.
It is not easy to satisfy customer as ISP.
Is it too much to ask for a package where we are blatantly not being ripped off? :v:
BT still owns all the internet cables in the UK :v:
Actually Virgin Media have their own.
