So THAT'S why I suddenly have ten Train Sim DLC coupons.
Wait shit I made a joke thread in the Videos subforum about Train Simulator 2014 and it comes out hours later
Those bastards they were waiting for this
This game sets an example when it comes to day one DLC.
Time to save up for a Munich-Augsburg Route Add-On
The reason it has so many DLC's is because this is actually just an upgraded Train Simulator. If you already owned 2013 it will turn into 2014, same with back in 2011-2012 AFAIK.
So these DLC's are just the same DLC's that were always available.
Holy balls.
I'm just here for the train puns.
I still wonder why this is popular.

Nah that'd derail the thread.

what is there not to get?
it's nonstop off the rails action.

Because it's fun.
I'd play it more if they did something with loading times, though... Well, I hope that's something to look forward to next year.
Well, it's rail-y (I'm sorry) good that you get a free upgrade from TS2013. (I had TS 2013 and it's upgraded me for free). Can't complain to be honest!

Its not DLC. I really wish people would get over this stupid obsession with the amount of third party addons this game has. Its quite common for simulators to have payware addons (look at FS X for a prime example). Its just listed as DLC on steam for ease of purchase / install.

I was tempted by Train Sim when it was cheap a few years ago but I decided not to because of the constant yearly upgrades so I wonder for anyone else who has had previous versions, is this a reoccurring thing? I read somewhere this happens every time there is a major update but I have no idea.

I bought 2012 when it was like 79p during a sale for a laugh, and mine has upgraded every time.

Damn it. It was just after they had announced 2013 so I decided not to buy a game that was about to become obsolete. Silly me.
