Angry soon to be gone employees set fire to the building?
:snip:, photos from another fire :v:
This is too delicious to be true.
That's pretty high up, I hope the firies don't have too much of a hassle putting it out.
Also, I heard Konami burn through a lot of staff; I didn't think it was to this extreme. :vs:
There's no way in hell it isn't an arson if it's true.
Could just be steam though, there was a similar scare with Winnipeg's Richardson building downtown where there was white stuff going out but it was apparently just steam. That actually looks like a pretty foggy day too to be honest.
Sounds like it could be just steam, I'dd say the ideas factory is running at max capacity but they fired Hideo

That's what I was thinking too. Like somebody at Konami was so done with their recent bullshit, so they "accidentally" started a fire before leaving that day.
'Konami denies reports that it is on fire.'
Not very dark smoke. Definitely would not surprise me if it was just steam.
I bet it was Jim Sterling
Didn't this happen before, and it wasn't a fire as it turned out?
Sounds way too good to be true.
Kojima's last blast
Ugh that company, they burned their producers, employees, customers, and now their building ?
I hope nobody was hurt, though I hear their game dev department was pretty empty anyways
"-burning flaaaaaaaame is the only way to repennnnnnnnnnt"
In all seriousness, hope it's not a fire and just some harmless steam.
Perhaps they are trying to commit insurance fraud?
Apparently this thing has happened b4, it could just be the HVAC system sprung a leak or is being purged and that's steam like last time
Yeah I imagine all the people inside there with a possible imminent threat to their lives are sharing the same experience as you are
Oh get over yourself. Anyone with half a bloody braincell knows that we're not getting a big dick over the fact that it might pose a danger to someone's life. We're getting giggly over the notion of Konami getting brought down a notch. I swear you people don't know how to infer context or something.
Edit:
Schadenfreude is what we're enjoying.
That's steam coming off the cooling towers on the roof.
Stink bomb!
... if the building really was on fire, that's a pretty big threat to peoples lives, not really something anyone with half a bloody brain cell enjoys.
You're right.
if the building was really on fire, wouldn't there be... fire?
Didn't this happen a few years ago?
I bet it was Jim Sterling
I wouldn't expect the jimquisition
Konami fired Kojima, so naturally Kojima would fire Konami.
Valve should sue them. Steam's their headline maker not konami's :v:
Konami can't catch a break these days...

Errr... I wouldn't use NeoGAF as a source, after all the shit that's currently going on in there.

I wouldn't exactly trust KIA as a source either. Also this thread isn't about GamerGate.
