Hey so like I just upgraded to Windows 7 32bit and I can't seem to read any discs with my dvd drive. Even discs it should normally be able to read like my music CD's and Call of Duty WaW.
Can anyone help?
I'm pretty sure you don't have to install drivers for CD/DVD drives, but it won't hurt to go online and see if there are any drivers you need.
Check cable's make sure the CD's you are trying can be read from other known working drives.
Either Hard/Software related Issue, or the lens of your DVD-Drive might be dirty/broken.

Actually, I had exactly the problem with my DVD drive last year. The solution to my problem was to go online and download the driver. It flashed the BIOS and updated/installed the drivers and low and behold I could use it again.
I was reading in one of the rags yesterday morning about this issue. Apparently some companies haven't supplied the drivers for their products to Microsoft which means they aren't automatically installed.
