I'm guilty of buying some :suicide:
I've spent more money on the gem store than I'd care to admit, and to be fair I've probably spent more than I would have had it been a monthly subscription. I'm not particularly complaining though, as I'll spend the money when I want to and never feel obliged to have to play the game every day of the month to feel like I got my moneys worth. God help me when they release the expansion though.
Yeah, I've bought a card before. I've also spent 18g in game just to buy a set of pets. SHAME THERE ISN'T A WAY TO HAVE THEM ALWAYS OUT

I honestly only buy gems for name changes and transmutation crystals. It is surprising how the economy hasn't crashed considering that you can sell the gems for gold.

Goes to show how successful, and easy to make money it is using only cosmetic and very light convenience items in a cash shop. EA could learn something from this and apply it to TOR
I have no problem admitting I have spent money on buying gems.
