I'm looking to buy a pre built and slap a video card in it, i was thinking of this one right here. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.660863 and slapping in a Radeon hd 6850 1gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908 I was wondering if the power supply was good enough for the video card. Thank you, and if you can beat the pre built with a home made that would be excellent.

Alright, in case the power supply doesn't support it, i could swap it for a 450watt one
Isn't that just a combo deal and not an actual prebuilt?
Comboe deal
Alright, in case the power supply doesn't support it, i could swap it for a 450watt one
I think I see a 6-pin connector so don't worry about it.
I think I see a 6-pin connector so don't worry about it.
The one thing is that alot of people on the reviews of the 6850, Some say that it takes two 6 pin connectors, some say it takes 1.

It was a Gigabyte card. This one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125353 I'm not 100% sure actually. Looks like two in the screenshot. On the one you linked it looks like one.

I double-checked and they're both one 6-pin. You'll be fine.

Let me intervene by saying that is bad and you should not get that combo deal. [editline]20th August 2011[/editline] H67, i5-2500. Really not worth it. [editline]20th August 2011[/editline] $60 more. Worth it. Slightly better PSU. I dunno, there I might go for a better one here. Motherboard is better. P67 chipset means you can overclock your i5-2500k, instead of having useless integrated graphics. CPU is an i5-2500k, which means you can easily overclock it to obtain much more power. Case is, in my opinion, better also. This is always debatable of course, and the case can be changed. This can, of course, be improved. I just threw it together to prove there is much better.
