remember when every time the word "graphics" was used on an internet forum there was suddenly like five people go "gameplay>graphics!!!"? Things sure have changed.
gameplay is more important than graphics but graphics can affect gameplay the difference in visual clarity can allow for some new gameplay ideas to come forth that wouldn't work at a lower resolution
"Now that we're able to have graphics in HD, this is allowing us to express some different ideas that we really haven't done before,"
So you're saying that somehow the game is impossible on SD graphics? I think the better way to say it is that advancements in graphics hardware are allowing you to express ideas that you really have not done before.
