I think my mind is pretty geared towards math, science, technology, etc., but I can't figure out what to do. I read about my interests very frequently, but I feel like making something. My problem isn't that I don't know what to make, but that I'm not at all motivated to make anything. I bought some electronics parts from RadioShack a long time ago, but I never made anything with them. I programmed a roguelike with SDL a few weeks ago, but I eventually got bored of making it. I've always dreamed of having a career in math/sci and having hobbies revolving around it, but I seriously lack motivation. Please advise.

How old are you?
Make like a robot that's also a cop and you can call him robopoliceman or something.

advice of the decade folks, should go in the bible
"And go forth and maketh like a robot that's also a cop and you can call him robopoliceman or something. pieisgood - 21:6"
Go do mechanical or electric engineering on a university?
I'm only 15. My school doesn't offer any math/sci activities, and no one else at my school is very informed about or interested in the subjects. Some of the teachers might be, but not any that I have.
Make a game where you have to dominate the world.
Or work more on your rougelike. Implement dynamic lighting, shaders, 2D depth of field(durr) and all that jazz.
Will keep you occupied for a long time.

Like I said, my problem isn't that I don't know what to do, but that I'm not motivated enough to do anything I think of.
I juggle hobbies like crazy.
Friday I photoshopped a ton of desktop wallpapers, submitted them to /v/ and they loved them.
Yesterday I learned FL studio, made a short funky little 'song' (also started on todays project)
Today I made a paper mache deadmau5 head.

I feel like this happens/used to happen to me a lot, too. I was into chess and swimming for a few years, but I quit both of those. When I was about 11, I enjoyed using photoshop, too, but I eventually quit that. I used to play the piano, but I quit that, too.
You should participate in competitions, like this one:

I can never get my head out of my ass and do something productive unless there's a definite time limit.
make a GIANT DILDO LIKE THE WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN!

And then have a demonstration, so no one will ever be able to see again.

My mom likes to switch around hobbies, but she's convinced every single one is her destiny. She almost bought a tshirt printing machine, she bought a glass blower, a rock tumbler, a shitload of knitting stuff, has a realtors license, a nailtech license, almost a haircutting license.
