In my opinion, a successful life would be, for starters having alot of money, having good friends, A girlfriend, A high paying job or a successful business. At the moment i have few friends, little money, no girlfriend and no job or active business. I do not consider myself a failure but i feel like i could have all of those things. So facepunch are you successful in your lives? Are you getting everything you want out of life?

I'm 23 and currently in college. Can't tell you either way yet. I suppose things are looking good so far.
Ytr, if I were you I'd make my life more successful by posting in fast threads.
It all depends on your definition of success

well, i have about six real-life friends at school, I'm 16, I'm very shy and reserved (disregarding expressing myself on the internet) and i maintain a GPA of 3.77
Thanks for the laugh you gave me. "If anyone is successful here"
I hate your idea of success, OP.
I'm going to start work earlier than everyone else I know, so I think I might have a good shot.
I'm going to be succesful, because if i fail, i still succeed. (NINJA)
Im 17, Ive had a job since I was 14. I graduated highschool when I was 16. I now own 3 vehicles. None of which were bought for me by my parents. I have every good gaming system and a decent computer. I had a few, but good friends. No girlfriend but that doesnt have me low.

So facepunch are you successful in your lives? Are you getting everything you want out of life?
I have a successful life. But I disagree with the "having alot of money" statement. Being successful doesn't mean having A LOT of money (correct spelling). Having the money to be independent and do what you want to do is successful. If having a ton of money is being successful, the majority of people on this planet would never ever be classified as successful, but still have great full lives filled with everything they want. I would classify myself as being pretty successful. I have a "few friends" with a lot of people I talk to and other connections. I have money and have opportunities to get paid to do chemistry research during the summers while not at school. Or internships with varying businesses. I have a girlfriend who I get along well with. We are both going to school to become doctors at the moment. I do not define myself as successful because I have those things, but because at this point in my life I can say that I am happy. And as long as I am doing the things I want, I will always be happy and thus successful.

I'm going to go on to do great things, make lots of money, be creative and help others. So yeah. My life is freaking awesome. :D
Yes I'm 18 and my net worth is already in the billions and I am globally known and liked :frog:

When I grow up I want to be the boss of a city-wide political machine.
When I grow up I want to be a corrupt senator.
When I grow up I want to be a corrupt senator.
Yeah see it would be so awesome to be a corrupt public official for a while! [editline]17th November 2010[/editline] Or an international arms dealer.
The term 'successful' is extremely loose. You could be homeless, and have no friends but consider yourself successful because you were raised to believe that way.
Going to a mid-level University in the pursuit of what interests me, namely Mechanical Engineering. When you consider how many people never reach for higher education, yes, I consider myself successful.
