Is there a way to contro how much bandwidth computers plugged into my router get?

I have a NETGEAR router and am trying to play CoD on Xbox, while listening to music on Spotify. Spotify hogs a lot of bandwidth and I'm lagging out on CoD. I don't care how long it takes for a song to load - is there anyway to give my XBox priority?
Well CoD is a Vector Distance dependent app and Spotify is probably a link state, they shouldn't interfere. Try closing things that will use connection related stuff like Utorrent, p2p shit and VoIP stuff . if you flash your router with dd-wrt it should hav an option to filter by IP
Check and see if your router has QoS settings, you may be able to specify which device on your network has priority.
Jesus man, correct the title already...
