I am planning on upgrading my computer's CPU, Mobo, and RAM. I currently have a AMD dual core processor, 4gb of 1066 ram, and an Asus mobo. My video card is a gts 450 which i'm very content with. But I was looking at getting the AMD Phenom II x6, Asus Crosshair IV mobo, and 8gb of 1600 Dual channel RAM. I was also worried about how my psu would handle with all that considering it is only 600w. Would my psu be able to handle this stuff? You think the items i chose are a good choice?
PSU will handle it. If your computer mostly for gaming, get a x4 and stick with 4gb.

Just to be safe, what type is your current RAM?
It is for gaming. I also need the extra power because i plan on making a gaming youtube channel. I would imagine the x6 and all the ram benefiting quite a bit. Please explain the x4 and 4gb of ram.

I have 1066. Its pretty old. Got it almost 5 years ago.
If you get a x6 and 8gb just for gaming, that's a overkill. Since you are doing video editing the gaming I don't know if you need that kind of stuff. (Since a x6 is for video editing)
And I was talking about the DDR of the RAM, I assume you have DDR2, make sure you get a DDR3 because your mobo only supports it.
It does. Should i link the stuff i wanna get? Could help a bit.
Yes it will be a big help
