Hello FP. After a brief hiatus, i'm returning to PC gaming Is my current computer sufficient to run the latest games well? I do not expect "Maxed out" settings, just something pretty and smooth. Phenom II X2 @ 3.1 GHZ Radeon 4890 1GB 4 Gbs DDR2 Ram Vista x64
That should run just about anything pretty well.
ya
yes
deffo
For now, you may survive, but expect chokes in newer games soon
Define "Chokes"?
No, send the graphics card to me.
That rig is pretty nice.
You're all good.
Upgrade the CPU and you'll be set for another year or two.
Looks fine for "smooth" gaming
fuck yar it is.
Define "Chokes"?
Low frame rate
when did you quit pc gaming and onto console?
should play most modern games.
I have the same setup practically except I overclocked my Phenom II and I have a 4850 X2, as long as you're not playing shitty unoptimized games that people often use to benchmark *cough*Crysis*cough* you'll be fine.
Might want to look at getting Windows 7, found it far more stable and user friendly than Vista.

if he had XP I'd agree but he doesn't so it's up to OP whether it's worth the cost

After you somehow fuck up the OS, don't reinstall Vista, install 7.
