seriously, DLC gamemodes? how low can you go IW, that's like buttraping a horse and then telling it you want the cum back
Trying this now.
The first gametype – “gtnw” – is Global Thermonuclear War
How about a nice game of chess?
Man my guns just won't come in fast enough. I can't wait to burn Activision to the ground. IW can then choose to live or die. THIS IS ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT!!!!
That's just low.
Wait, so they already had the content, but locked it up, and plan to unlock it while pretending its DLC?
Didn't they think people would notice when they "download the dlc" that nothing is being downloaded, even though its maps and gamemodes?
Thermo nuclear war.
Sounds badass :D

Falcons maze sounds good.
Its like Resident Evil all over again
FYI IW didn't take part in these decisions. Activision did.

No matter what you think IW was behind this.
I miss Grant Collier. :sigh:
Whoever that bought PC version of MW2 for $60 is a massive tool!

Hell, I haven't even bought the first because it's still $45 everywhere I go. Unless this game cures cancer, it doesn't need to be that much after a sequel or two.
I thought it was more pathetic that there's a website devoted to crying about mw2, than the actual issue of this thread.

what
Activision, taking the DL out of DLC.
So? Burnout paradise makes you download all the DLC, and to "unlock" it, you buy it.

Yea, but at least you download it.
What they are doing is like this:
You go buy a microwave at the store and go home to make some popcorn. You press the popcorn button and it says "Please enter activation code to unlock popcorn mode".

So you log on to MicrowavePunch and look up some guy's reposted tutorial on how to reconfigure your Soup mode (assuming that's working correctly) to use a different timer, and bitch about how this wasn't in the official product.

Bad comparison. Burnout Paradise had a ton of free DLC before they started to charge for anything, you already know that MW2's DLC will be paid DLC across all platforms.
MAYBE, it was some gamemodes they were just testing? Maybe it's not supposed to be DLC at all,. Maybe, it's a gamemode they hadn't finished in time for release, and just thought they'd finish it by releasing a patch or two that'll fix all the bugs?
Also, I don't think a couple of extra maps would be the cause of a 12gb game.
But of course, I'm probably reading it all wrong.

RE5's content wasn't on the disc.
Yes, let's all go ahead jumping to conclusions, because we totally know what those files are for.

I think we do since they got them to work in game.

But then again I don't see any videos. So if anyone's willing to try this out I'd like to see some.

they've already gone to the extent of charging PC gamers 20% more than before just because they can.
Dear oh dear, i feel like writing an angry email and sending it to IW.
