• Built a new PC - RAM Not running at stock?

A few days ago I built a new machine. Specs: Processor: AMD FX-8350 Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 RAM: Corsair DDR3 8GB Vengeance 1866Mhz When I go into the BIOS to look at the RAM, it says it's running them at 1333Mhz. I use the EOC to bump it up to 1866 - But then it says I have to adjust the voltage, so I proceed to change the voltage from manual to auto. I then change the clock on the RAM to manual and adjust it to 1866. My problem is when I boot up it tells me the system has failed because of an overclock failure. How can I easily get the RAM running at stock?
All ram is clocked to 1333 when you first put it in and start your system up, you have to go into the BIOS and manually set it to the advertised speed look for XMP profile 1 or look for an XMP profile enabled setting. Save that, and then restart and the RAM will remain at the correct speed from then on.

Seems to be running at stock! Thank you!
