DICE is letting players get more involved with improving Battlefield 4, with an opt-in Community Test Environment.
It originally cost $60 and started November 12, 2013. Thanks, DICE, But the time for testing was well over half a year ago. If by now you still have to do this then it's time to let go and start anew
They closed submissions 2 hours after opening
This is bullshit.
I ain't buying this game until they fix it to a reasonable standard. I have loved all battlefield games since when I first played one of the series on a playstation 2, ever since the quality of the "finished" product has degraded ever since they have had the ability to "patch" the game(s) via the interwebs. Get your shit together dammit :(

Ya know, I played this game yesterday for the first time in months and it still crashes. Complete waste of $60
i bought it for $25 on black friday. its not worth a cent more
A shooter where your bullets don't work is a pretty far fucking cry from fine and playable.
Literally never had this issue. Games fine (for me) and fun.
Literally never had this issue. Games fine (for me) and fun.
Game's fine for me too, but I can't play with friends because they crash constantly. And they all have better PCs than me.
Literally never had this issue. Games fine (for me) and fun.
Whether you noticed you had that issue or not is largely irrelevant in a thread about DICE setting up a public test environment to fix said issue.
Netcode will be the first test, and the CTE will be the guinea pigs for minor tweaks to the networking code for optimization.
"You have to be a premium member to participate" Im out, i bought BF3's premium but for the mess that BF4 is? No thanks.
Absolute shit that a $60 game has premium accounts, the fuck are you doing EA/DICE? You only do that if it's free to play!
At least the amount of stuff you get from it is more than double from vanilla.

Premium grants no bonuses except having a few skins and basically is stating that you preordered all the map packs... [editline]10th May 2014[/editline] I ended up paying $45.00 total for the game + Premium and I kinda quit at 50+ hours and I never really ran into any glitches that everyone is talking about.. Never crashed once since release... [editline]10th May 2014[/editline] Also I totally thought they were opening up the game to the community ie modtools... I dream too big :(
Literally never had this issue. Games fine (for me) and fun.
There's still invisible surfaces, and some "glitchy" terrain, which speaks for half-assed map creation at least. But oh, never mind, obviously it's just MY BF4 that has these issues, not yours. (Hint: Not true.)
