• Decent encryption services?

I run Windows 7, and their built in encryption service isn't all that great. Having searched the internet for a solution I came across stuff like BitLocker, unfortunately they only provide for Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise (I run Professional). What's more I'd have to fork out a considerable amount of money to buy them. Could anyone suggest a semi-decent free encryption service? I could keep searching, and I'm sure I'd find something, but I want to find something trustworthy, where I can be sure I'm making the right decision.
What are you needing to protect on your HDD? Im not sure you really want full HDD encryption.
No, you're right, I don't want that. It's just general encryption for sensitive data/data of my choosing i.e online banking statements. Stuff that I can backup easily, I don't intend on encrypting more than about 1% of my HDD. But yeah, a full HDD encryption isn't necessary at all, and losing my key will have pretty severe consequences if I did fully encrypt my HDD.
TrueCrypt is awesome.
