Need a graphics card/processor that can handle modern games

So recently I played Saints Row 3 and had to lower the settings a bit. It was ok for the while but when I drive I lag like shit. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT and my processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo, and I have 2GB RAM.
Does disk space affect performance too? Just wondering.
I would want this one, but I'm thinking that I don't need that much power.
Saints Row 3 was a pretty horribly optimized game in the first place - but not as bad as Saints Row 2.
I'll suggest that you get a bundle like this for the processor/motherboard/RAM:
Then the video card you get is pretty reliant on the budget. Don't expect to get a smooth FPS on Saints Row under anything really, though.
What's your budget?
If you have the money to buy a 6990 then you may as well go for a 3570k and a decent GPU

To be honest, you're really looking at almost an entirely new PC.

Only the loading times, and in some cases stuttering if the disk read/write rate is low or the data is heavily fragmented.
Erm, judging from the specs it's a prebuilt so he'll need a new case and PSU to go with the mobo/CPU/gpu upgrades everyone is suggesting. Basically, everything but the hard drive and DVD drive.

How do the specs make it a prebuilt? It's just fairly old
Sorry, I should have said the way he listed the specs, i.e. not mentioning specific make on the GPU, which Core 2 Duo, which motherboard, RAM, the question about disk space. It could be a pre-owned homebuilt or something, but it seems fairly reasonable to expect a prebuilt in this case from the evidence given.
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T/GeForce GTX560
That is really enough...

i3 2100 and a 560Ti would probably be better value
which Core 2 Duo
Intel(R) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU E4600 @2.40GHz 2400Mhz 2 Cores 2 Logical Processors
Might as well just upgrade the whole lot.
