I just got this laptop/tablet hybrid, so i'm wondering what games would work best with it.
it's one of these: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/itemdetails/20DM000VUS/457/4B33557C0284AEEBC001A610E8440565
i've already tried Trine 2, which surprisingly had touchscreen controls already built-in.
i've also installed Super Meat Boy.
any others?
please try not to give me anything graphically taxing like metro or some shit.
[sp]also, if possible try to cross-reference with recommendations with my library: http://steamcommunity.com/id/theoctopod
not saying i don't care about non-steam games or games i haven't bought yet.[/sp]
Binding of Issac and VVVVV would work I think, as would Civ 5.
Papers Please only really utilizes the mouse right? I can imagine that one is great for touch screens. Haven't played it myself though

Tabletop sim should also be pretty good if you have friends
Fallout 1 & 2 can be played solely with the mouse.
Divekick.
I've got the same type of laptop and I've been wondering the exact same thing myself. Civ 5 is the only game I know with actual touch support.

Tabletop sim is ok on touch and pinch zoom sorta works but lacks any way to rotate stuff or the table which sucks
Risk of Rain, FTL: Faster Than Light, and Crypt of the Necrodancer are some of my favorite games that are light on my laptop. Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, too, but that's already been mentioned.
Dwarf Fortress is keyboard only, not (too) taxing
Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Dragonfall! I'm pretty sure they're designed with a hefty focus on touch screens.
Freedom Planet only uses a keyboard I'm pretty sure, that game's a blast
One finger death punch is really fast paced and literally uses left and right or your mouse clicks. It's fun too.
Hearthstone. not sure if it has full touchscreen support on pc though.
Hearthstone has top notch touchscreen support and runs flawlessly on even my anemic T100TA. Papers, Please doesn't work so well, though I haven't tried it since shortly after I got the machine, there might have been an update. You have to double tap and drag to drag things, an under the pressure of Papers, Please that starts getting very frustrating. I think Galaxy On Fire 2 HD Super Plus Turbo Longname has it's touchscreen support as an option, but I never tried it.
I'd try super hexagon. Or VVVVVV. Actually any of Terry Cavanagh's games.

oh and bit trip runner
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead
Dwarf Fortress is keyboard only, not (too) taxing
it gets pretty taxing when you've got 120+ dwarves in your fortress

At the beginning ye, but once you get some dwarves going the pathing starts eating at your CPU
Space chem if you like difficult puzzles
