Molyneux aside, I played this a teensy bit a while back. It's actually a pretty neat, calming experience. The style's nice too.
Never been a big mobile gamer though.
why would anyone trust molyneux
The mobile version is absolute garbage so I have high hopes that they will become king of the trash pile with this release.
and 90% of the features will be removed following launch, followed by a re-branding as a monthly curated snack basket.
Wonder how he'll disappoint us all this time.
I think it is a shame that it states PETER MOLYNEUX and not just 22can. Peter have had his time and I think he is just trying to start a name of the new (It has been here for 2 years or so now, so not really that new) company instead.
22cans make simple small games and that is what people should expect. But whenever Peter Molyneux is written on it, it is quickly to be judged.
The trail on mobile is quite a nice little game and I can well recommend it - But I don't think the format works on PC.
looks totally uninspired and uninteresting
i predict that its going to fail

Peter's idiocy has created a reputation that isn't going to leave him
whatever his name is written on becomes cursed

Can't be disappointed if you're expecting it.
Guess the biggest disappointment is that it's expected from him at this point.

I expect to be disappointed but he then disappoints me more by somehow doing worse than anyone expected

tbh its really amazing how he does this
if theres anything he is skilled at, it's being a flaccid cock that just doesn't want to work correctly
I listened to an interview with him and about his life and yeah, he's been a scam artist his whole life. He is a really nice guy though and had some decent ideas.

that's just his camera personality. I refuse to believe he's nothing more than a con artist, because his action speak much louder than his words.

To be fair, the guy is responsible for some amazing, genre defining classics back in the Bullfrog days like Populus, Syndicate, Magic Carpet and of course Dungeon Keeper. I don't know how many of you were around when these games came out, but they really were mind blowing.
Even his later Lionhead Studios games like Black and White and Fable, despite not delivering on everything he promised, were pretty impressive and not at all bad games.
It's only in more recent times that the ratio of promises to actual game features got so bad his games became mostly vaporware. I wouldn't trust anything he says now, but it doesn't diminish his past accomplishments. He used to be one of the greats.
