I've been working with audacity and melodyne to create GLaDOS's voice. Here are my results:

I'm pretty sure this safely blows most other attempts out of the water.
That one was a quicky, I can probably do better.
Hoyl shit
That ones the best for far
This is a triumph, I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
Amazing, it actually sounds like GLaDOS
Nice one
Make it longer, say more shit, add some pitch changes and shat, make it interesting. Then make a tutorial how to do it. :)
Can somebody give me the notes for "this was a triumph"?

You mean lyrics?

And it is 'Still alive'
No he means notes, just run a google search, there's sheet music and some dude created a .mid
"Portal Still Alive Sheet Music" or "Portal Still Alive Midi"
Oh, I read notes and I had no idea why he would want the music notes for it if he is making a voice effect :raise:
hehe, melodyne... I installed it once but it fucked up my sound drivers, maybe I'm just dumb. Never tried to fix.
Try to get it to work on the speech thing.

What do you mean?
It's entirely synthed.
Mmm, any way of making this into some kind of a standalone program? D:

Of course, It'd probably be rather easy.
I don't like the three pitches for the word "lonely", I think two would sound better. Like, instead of lo-on-ly, just make it lon-ely, and skip the middle pitch.

I know, I'll do it.
Really nice work man, congrats :D

The MS Narrator, that was what I was talking about.
Microsoft Narrator no longer has Microsoft Sam as the computer's default voice or whatever. What would be awesome is a downloadable GLaDOS text-to-speech voice. Also, I have looked at the date of the latest post and realize it's been over two years. Still, want. And I'm sure others would be interested too.
I can't access the link, it's down. OP could you re-upload it?
Holy crap guys, this thread is way too old for the files to still be around... January 2008 ? Necro'd. :eng101:
