• Planing to stay awake for 2 days good/bad?

As the tittle suggests I plan to stay awake for 2 days. I want to do this in order to restore my sleeping cycle, this is what happens when you go to sleep when its 6 in the morning and wake up when its 15:00 in the evening. I myself think this is a semi-bad idea. But I can't do something stupid until I know what FacePunch has to say! So post/discus/fight/troll about my (master) plan. Current time: 3.00(24.00 hour clock) Edit: 2.00 Don't feel sleepy yet... Booted up COD2 about 30 minutes ago going strong atm. 3.00 Installed Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. Planing on playing trough the SP(Mission impossible!). Patching the game as I'm typing this. Should I install the new Beta patch? 4.00 I'm posting this with a little delay since I was in a middle of taking a dump when the clock decided to beat 4 but oh well. I installed and patched SC FA. The SP in great but the missions are time consuming iven at +10 they take ages but its at least fun to play them. 5.00 Nothing new happened. I'm still playing the SP in SC FA I'm still in the first missions because I "miss clicked" while having the nuke launcher selected and I more or less made Fort Clark go ballistic! 6.00 Watching TV at the moment so I'l keep this update short... 7.00 I stopped watching TV about 15 minutes ago. I'm starting SC FA as I'm typing this. Maybe now I can finally finish that first mission... 8.00 I rage quit from SC FA because I was owned by the AI. At the moment I'm installing new apps onto my Ipod Touch. Edit: I don't relay feel like typing this things any more...
I think it's fine, when I got home from Vietnam, I couldn't slept for around 3 days (0 Zero, NADA).
bad
i do this like every other weekend, who care
bad
Care to elaborate?
sounds like my sleeping schedule I tried this once and it didn't work I just ended up going to sleep at 10PM and got up at 3PM once more.
it doesn't really matter. Just dont do it every day. Its vacation anyway right ? PS in 12 hours you will be totally broken.
Care to elaborate?
there are other ways of "calibrating" your biological clock sleep deprivation is not one of them
do something like play videogames with your friends or do something outdoors that helps staying awake
Just go to sleep and set an alarm in the morning, done. Sure, you may only sleep a few hours but you'll do it next night.
Can't you just take some melatonin and go to bed early?
there are other ways of "calibrating" your biological clock sleep deprivation is not one of them
if you really are willing to listen to serious advice... check out for them, I did some of them but i cannot remember
great idea, you wont regret it
don't do it, it takes the body like a month to restore for 36 hours without sleeping, if you go to 48 it's even worse. If it was for a good reason like going to some mad party with your friends or something I would go for it, now if you just want to fix your sleeping pattern, you should do it progressively, like trying to wake and go to bed 1 or 2 hours earlier every day for like 4 days, then your sleeping pattern should be fixed. Anyway if you wanna do it for fun, go for it!
Often I go out, come back at 8am and dont go to sleep until the next evening. Doesnt feel any different really.
No problem in doing it once I'd suggest that you get ready with a lot of coffee
