I have several different copies of Vista burned on to several different discs, both are Vista Ultimate and burned onto discs using PowerIso's burning feature and both don't work(I also used this to get a linux disc and it hasn't worked yet either) due to "No BOOTMGR" present on the disc as it's told me. I am totally stuck on what to do from here. I'm really hoping this is just a problem with my burning method/discs. Halp. Please.
Just to make sure, you didn't simply burn the ISO file onto the disc as a file, right? You burned it properly? Also, are you sure the computer isn't simply trying to boot from the hard drive, and not the disc? What speeds did you burn the discs at?

I didn't just burn it, I think I did it properly. I burned the image file using PowerISO which seemed to do the trick. I'll check to see what it wants to boot off of. I burnt the discs at 10,000 kbm or whatever the rate is.
reburn at the slowest speeds possible like 2x or 4x
Ok, I'll see if this helps at all.
