YELM, Wash. — If Scamp the dog was living up to his name by playing a trick on his owners, a grandmother in Washington isn't laughing. Reta McKinlay thought her grandchildren's puppy died after it escaped through a fence at her Yelm home and was hit by a car. The terrier-Shih Tzu mix was bleeding, his eyes fixed. He wasn't breathing. McKinlay told The Olympian her husband wrapped him in a blanket on Dec. 3 and left him under a wheelbarrow to keep animals away. They prepared to bury him the next morning. She told her 6-year-old twin grandchildren that Scamp had gone to heaven. But when her husband returned, Scamp was sitting up. The family has spent $3,000 on veterinary bills since. McKinlay says Scamp's return is the family's Christmas present.
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/45688559#.TxmiQ_kVea8
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/45688559#.TxmiQ_kVea8
To everyone - if you are copy-paste'ing stuff from other websites, at least put some effort into this and remove these links to related news - "Story: Dog missing for 8 years to be reunited with family", "Story: 'Christmas miracle': Family dog survives explosion, fire". And now on n the topic, it's all nice and dandy, but now imagine if YOUR dog did the same, but hours later, 2 meters under :C

That dog is the best at the "play dead" trick. The best.
Wow that happened a town away from me
Pet Sematary.
Was probably just passed out then.
What are you talking about
It's obvious?
WHAT HOW DID YOU ???
why can't you just rate it and move on are you that angry
That's amazing. I wish this could have happened to my cat Otis. :(
This makes me wonder how many pets I've buried alive.
WHAT HOW DID YOU ??? [editline]20th January 2012[/editline]
Dammit I thought I got you :v:
This makes me wonder how many pets I've buried alive.
The only animals I had to bury were rabbits that had fallen prey to my cat. They were pretty dead. RIP
Dammit I thought I got you :v:
I thought I was going crazy. Also, it seems as if when a person edits his post within a certain period of time the person who quotes them quote changes. What the fuck, Garry?

It wasn't dead but hurt and the lady didn't take it to a vet intill she knew it was alive, ya a miracle.
Made my day.
It wasn't dead but hurt and the lady didn't take it to a vet intill she knew it was alive, ya a miracle.
If something has no pulse and doesn't breathe then it's not gonna be alive. The dog was luckily alive.
That must've made them so fucking happy.
That must've made them so fucking happy.
I would have shit my pants if my dog suddenly stood up as I was about to bury it.
This makes me wonder if my pet dog that "choked" on a balloon was actually dead or not six years ago
A dog coming back from the dead? That's some scary Shih Tzu.
I was dead for 8 days.
Pet Sematary.
Sometimes, dead is better. But not in this case as no sacred burial ground was defiled (as far as we know.)
I needed some good news today.
