The fan on my 9600gt has been gradually been getting worse, with steadily increasing temperatures, with me having to gradually increase the amount i under clock it by to keep it under 80 degrees. I was looking around, and saw this [url]http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/Product_Read.asp?Idx=340[/url], and was wondering if any FPers had had it before, and any thoughts on it.
have you tried simply cleaning the dust out of the fan and heatsink
Have you tried turning up the fan speed?
Cleaned dust out already, barely lowered temperatures, and as far as i know the fan won't go much faster.
Get an expansion slot fan if you have one available. Air blowing directly on the VGA is a good thing.

Grease out your fan. I never dusted out my 8800GT's fan and it eventually would go at like 100RPM it was so clogged. Put some WD40 in the bearing and it was fine. Don't use WD40 unless you don't have any other lubricant.
Attempted to force fan to 100%, going to see what happens, but i still want a new one [editline]09:46PM[/editline] [QUOTE=Thor667;16608168]Download Rivatuner[/QUOTE] Tis what i used [editline]09:48PM[/editline] No effect at forcing the fan speed, going to try to grease the fans tomorrow [editline]09:56PM[/editline] We're going to spray it with WD40 (no other alternative) in the morning, i assume running the fan at the same time is a good idea [editline]10:02PM[/editline] Just sprayed it [editline]10:33PM[/editline] going to see if turning off my computer makes a better fifference to temps once its on again (WF40 again) [editline]11:00PM[/editline] Its fixed now, thanks for helping
