Gonna get a HD 5870, is Vapour-X worth the extra $20?

As the title suggests, I'm gonna get a HD 5870, is Vapor-X worth the extra $20, or is it just gimmicky? Or, should I just avoid Sapphire all together and go with the ASUS, which, from what I have read, has greater over clocking potential.
It's new to Newegg, I believe it appeared today, can be found here:

At the very least, it isn't covered it Sappire's usual shit CGI characters.
1. It's out of stock
2. It's extra cooling, you really won't need it unless you're OCing

1. It's not been released yet, but the same technology has been used on previous cards.
2. I am going to OC, how great of a difference in temperatures is it?
1. Oh, lol
2. idk
Yes, If you are going to OC it is very worth it, The temps differ depending on how much you OC, But it is very worth it.

Certainly so, but what's the deviation from a standard stock cooler in terms of temperature, under load? Temperature differences at different clocks, to show the coolers effectiveness, or lack of?
YES get it
most of the vapor-x's overclock very high (prolly cause of the cooling). You're almost guaranteed a 1GHz core clock on that. (yes 5870s can get 1GHz core clocks)
Yeah. Get it. Vapor-x is amazing
Yeah get it they used that cooler to get a 4890 to 1ghz imagine what 40 nm can do.
:allears:
get the vapor X or get the 5870 here for 360

Is that a reputable site, or will I have my credit card info stolen? I'd rather not go through with all that shit, my brother did last year, took him a month of work to get everything good again.

a friend of mine on OCN bought one for his friend. Here's the PM

looks fine http://www.hardforum.com/archive/index.php/t-1409005.html
I think I'm gonna go with the vapor-x. Seems to be worth the extra cash.
Any last comments? It's gonna be a few days before it's available.
Guys I am getting 2 HD 5870s going to run is crossfire. Should I OC them?

A single 5870 is able to max every game on the market right now, two of them would have plenty enough power; an OC isn't necessary.

It certainly isn't necessary, but for applications like modeling, or other things that need complex renders, it's desirable. I would personally, just for the heck of it. (Folding@Home is another I forgot about. Use that power for good.)

you can get more performance by overclocking
that's the whole point bupp
It should be a lot quieter, and better for OC. $20 is worth it for not having to buy a separate heatsink/cooler and do it yourself.
$20 sounds like a good deal for extra cooling, as all those extra features on ATI cards produce a very large amount of heat. So the more cooling you give it the smoother the card will run even if your not overclocking.
