What People Say About Michael:
"Personally I think the mans a musical genius he has produced some of the best songs i have heard in a while.
The thing is they never seem to grow old. Screw what people think he will forever be a musical god in my book"
-A Man Writes On http://www.experienceproject.com/
"He just isn't the King of Pop, but a music god.
He is what makes music worth listening to! People might remember him as the creep-o who went to court for molesting a child,
but when you read deeper into that, the case was dropped, because the child who claimed to be molested said he was lying to get money!"
-Fudgeman511
What People Say About Elvis:
"He was fantastic... When he danced, the people danced, the girls would actually faint because of what he was doing.
The people didn't care if he was white or black, he was a good artist and they felt his music."
-Lavern Baker
"Describe Elvis Presley? He was the greatest who ever was,
is or ever will be."
-Chuck Berry
So My Question To You Guys Is, Elvis or Michael?
I personally say Michael
Michael is gonna win this one
His grointouching moved a nation
You sir, are sooo right..
A little less conversation...
Elvis all the way.
Lets see...
Drug addict, or pedophile.
I choose the third option: RAY JAY JOHNSON
I hate both of them, but Elvis was/is more tolerable, so Elvis.
MJ, definitely
heheee!
Both are kings but MJ has been influential throughout the 60s up until the present, there are far too many crappy elvis albums and elvis didnt write many songs at all. And his life until his death was so depressing. MJ died with his life having extreme amounts of hope and a vision of his career in the future.
We can look at history with the media and allegations, also a disease that he couldnt help with that damaged his career somewhat. Didnt hold him back
Elvis.
I like his music more, he was less creepy.
Also he was the king of Rock'n'Roll.
Hmm.. I would have to say Elvis. Tough choice though.
As I love Rock'n'Roll, Rockabilly and music like that, Elvis wins by far.
Elvis, he invented this shit.

Absolute legendary albums
Elvis.
Elvis, hands down.
MJ, for different reasons.
1. Though definitely popularizing rock 'n' roll and being an idol to millions, Elvis didn't invent the genre as he's often credited with doing and didn't really even write his own songs. MJ wrote most of his biggest hits: "Beat It", "Billie Jean," and "Black or White" being just a few examples.
2. MJ's video "Thriller" completely revolutionized music videos and dance.
I could think of more, but...yeah. Definitely MJ.
Racists wont let Michael win this poll.
Racists wont let Michael win this poll.
I dont see how. In ways Elvis is more influential and in different ways mj is more so. But if you are going to claim its racism that Mj loses this poll then you're an idiot.
Know both sides of the poll.
Michael jackson. As a 90's kid with a christian mother, I spent half my life listening to michael jackson, and his songs are just overall much better written than some fat american who's seizure moves somehow gained interrest amongst the people.
Elvis, becuse he was the start of the Rock, ANd that elvolved to the best musik genere ever, METAL!!
Elvis, becuse he was the start of the Rock, ANd that elvolved to the best musik genere ever, METAL!!
Elvis wasn't heavy metal
Elvis wasn't heavy metal
no, he was rockabilly but Rockabilly was the basic to metal
Hard choice, but still going with Michael.
I got addicted to Elvis songs more as a kid, but for some reason I like Michael more now.
no, he was rockabilly but Rockabilly was the basic to metal
Why not talk more about this rockability rather than how much you like metal, that part made no sense
Michael.
Elvis was good at the old and standard.
Michael revolutionized the industry.
And i like his music better. He has no set genre. Many songs from different genres.
Elvis was just another pop music pretty boy, didn't add anything that new to music.
MJ. Listening to his music now. It's amazing how much of an influence he had on the world.
