You need monitors, speakers, keyboards and other peripherals in your budget?
What about your resolution?
I just need the computer itself, my res is 1080p

What's in your ass? I'm just wondering why he can't use an ATi card. The 5000 series is any bit as good as the GTX 400 series.
I want physx
[editline]10:26PM[/editline]
And apl the other advantages
I thought it was a CAD machine. Why do you need PhysX? Will you be playing games on it too?
Why the fuck am I getting boxes hnfjshnfgijhn sfih. Everyone else was unsure what he meant as well.
Cad = abbreviation for canadian dollar
Cad = abbreviation for canadian dollar
Well that explains alot.
But CAD also means Computer Aided Design. That clears things up. Try to be more clear in the future.
Even so, there is a physx plugin for 3ds max that does some mean simulations.

I didn't mean to be rude, sorry.
I really hate people.

CAD, ISO Abbreviation, Computer Aided Design.
Next time word it CAD$1500 Build or $1500(CAD) Build. Differentiate from ISO abbreviations that are common to the computer savvy.
As usual why are you being a fanboy blah blah blah somebody else say it for me.
as usual. Why are you going against peoples preferences blah blah blah someone else already explain it for you.
Not to mention, PhysX can maybe at one point be VERY helpful for CAD builds.

Woohoo, lucky 2,222 post!

I just don't get why people always demand one brand over the other. If they know enough to have an opinion, then they shouldn't have to ask for a parts list.
It's Canadian dollars not CAD, please read the thread.
My god you are stupid. Even a moron would understand that post. The way he worded it makes sense in context, he was pointing out that the OP had his placement of CAD wrong, so it looked like Computer Aided Design instead of Canadian Dollars.
Oh, somehow I read his post wrong, my apologies. Well now I just feel dumb.

Hey I live in Canada also (Vancouver, BC)
Anyways, ether NCIX or Tiger Direct will do. For Mine I used NewEgg.ca but its really your choice.
Mine was around $1450 CAD
Specs:
MotherBoard: eVGA P55 FTW
CPU: Intel i5 750 @4GHZ
GPU: XFX 5850 (XFX HD-585X-ZNFC)
RAM: 4x2gb DDR3 1600mhz CL9 Corsair (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)
HDD: Western Digital 1.5Tb 7200rpm 64mb cache
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64Bit (6.1.7600)
PSU: Corsair TX750Watt
CPU Cooler: Corsair H50
T.I.M.: Arctic Silver 5
Case: CM 690 II Adv.
You can go for a lower grade Motherboard, and change out my 5850 for a 470.

Or get 4 GB ram and add a 470.
Can always plug in more ram if you need it in the future.
I would also go for a Samsung F3 HDD.
Good build still.

650W PSU is enough.
GTX 460 1GB OC (or a stock 470) is better than 5850 for less expensive
DDR3 1333Mhz instead
and Spinpoint F3 instead too
OP, get this, http://pc.ncix.com/pcbuilder/pcbuilderpreview.cfm?id=3265110&skus=42499-1-0|51257-1-0|40069-1-0|52284-1-0|49224-1-0|42532-1-0|44398-1-0|45271-1-0|50895-1-0|40435-1-0|7842-50 its awesome.

50 dollars is a fine price from a business perspective
It includes stress tests, memtests and all that
