• Are my laptop fans broken or is it something else?

So my laptop has been overheating for the past while and I'm about to send it away to get repaired but before I do I want to make 100 percent sure it's the fans that's broken and not something else. So my laptop overheats without a laptop cooler and sometimes it does even with a laptop cooler. Multiple times I've tried cleaning the fans with compressed air and a vacuum. I'm running on an asus J73GH laptop. Can anyone help out?
Is there air blowing out of the vents or being sucked in? If not they are broken. If they are you should either pop the laptop open and clean the dust out, or send it out to have someone else do it for you.
How much would a small computer repair shop charge?
An unnecessary amount, is it still under warranty? If not try to find a manual to your laptop on how to disassemble and reassemble it correctly. Clean out the dust and make sure it has plenty of airflow.
It is under warranty until mid september which is why I'm planning ons ending it back, I was just looking for a good alternative because sending it off is a hassle.
