• Which components to upgrade?

Alright, so I've been out of the PC game for a minute, a little over 17 months due to some marine corps bullshit. Anyways, I'd like to upgrade my pc again and get back to my glorious pc gaming master race. Right now this is what I've got in this bitch, running Vista Ultimate(jesus, worst fucking idea ever?). I'm probably gonna convert to Windows 7, as I've heard great things. I'm also gonna add another 2 GB of Ram? Maybe 4? Hows ATI's newer cards performance shaping up? I've always been an ATI/AMD guy, but the Marines have stripped me of pretty much any loyalty, so I'm willing to convert. I'm looking to run some crossfire or sli. Take into account I don't really want to build an entirely new system, and this mobo is built from the ground up to accommodate Crossfire. Is my Windsor X2 still up to par with gaming or will it get stomped by newer games? Also willing to upgrade PSU to accommodate the gear. I wouldn't want to spend more than 500$ on a GPU alone($800 for a crossfire/sli system) if thats all I really need upgraded, or 900$ on a single GPU, CPU combination. TL;DR I'm pretty much looking to upgrade my video card and possibly CPU if its not fitting current specs. Help me make the best choices. This rig as is hits 45fps in crysis, granted it was at a pretty low resolution.
