Need some help finding something to boost a home wireless network or a strong adapter that will be able to pick up a signal in an outside shed that currently has a fairly patchy connection on a laptop.
Not really sure what the best option is so any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Signals coming from the shed? Or going to? Oh, you want the booster in the shed?
Why not just run a wire to it and put another router out there or something. If the shed's metal I can see it causing problems by shielding the wireless, also we don't know how far away it is or anything.
Sheds not metal wire going to it isn't really an option, it's maybe 5 metres away from the house where the router is on the second floor
can get a connection in the shed if you put the laptop in a certain position but want to get a constant connection
Just wondering, what do you do in your shed that you have to use the internet?
what kind of router do you have?
