Does anyone here have a good 3 main idea outline about why video games are good for people? I have a outline due tomorrow and for my rough draft I had for my 3 main ideas were Problem Solving, Hand-Eye Cordination and Reading but the teacher really didn't like them. So i Was wondering if anyone has a better outline that I can get some examples on.
I did a case study on video games and their effect on the brain for my GCSE Biology coursework and got full marks (only person ever to have done so at my school :3:). I'd be happy to help you out.
Hand-Eye Co-ordination is a definite. I'd suggest going with Multiculturalism or something, talking about how, if you're playing online, you'll often be playing with a team of people from all over the world. Throw in something there about leadership skills too - it takes a ton of organisational skill to keep C:SS clans or WoW guild raids going, or even just to execute a plan of attack on Team Fortress 2. If you can't cadge Hand-Eye Co-ordination into there, I suggest talking about how many foreigners have been able to learn English from games (there's a fair few on Facepunch I believe who are excelling in their English classes because of playing GMod or TF2).
