As the title says i got a 42" Tv hooked to my pc, but i get the lowest possible resolution, how do i fix it? Specs Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.090206-1234) Language: Norwegian (Bokmål) (Regional Setting: Norwegian (Bokmål)) System Manufacturer: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD System Model: MS-7327 BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz Memory: 3328MB RAM
What kind of cable are you using to connect? And what type of TV is it. (LCD, CRT)
A DVI to VGA adapter behind the Pc and a vga cable to the tv If the cable is the problem, i have a HDMI on the PC but it doesnt work
The HMDI doesn't work you say? Just for more info, You can not use HDMI while you use DVI if I recall correctly. If I am wrong, someone go ahead and correct me.
No, I think you're right gerbile, something to do with HDCP bullcrap. OP, what's the resolution supposed to be? What model is it?
Try forcing the output in ATICC or NVCP.
Is your tv HD?
