Fallout 1 & 2 are the best games in the world along with Deus Ex.
;) good game
I'll trade a copy or even two copies of dogfighters for this collection :D
Fo1 and Fo2 are easily the best turnbased rpg ever.
Been waiting for a price drop on this. Bought it as soon as it went on sale.
fucking amazing games
I think Deux Ex: GOTY for £1.49 is a better deal.
They're $5.99 each on GOG though.
Worth it just because they come with extras and are more mod/unofficial patch friendly than Steam's copies.

And the lack of DRM.
Shut up and take my bottlecaps!
I bought the second one last week and the first one yesterday. For full price.
Also, who says that Deus Ex is a better choice, go burn yourself.
Bought, time to play some old games!

They're both good choices.
Is it bad that I've never played a Fallout game apart from 3 and NV?
Because I'm already ashamed of myself.

Well, I've finished both series. Deus Ex is worse in terms of plot holes. Fallout has a better RPG aspect and more choices that actually affect the endings, but is smashed because of bugs. They are uncomparable in gameplay, though.
hnng
First Shogun, then Deus Ex and now this.
Relentless wallet rape
Been waiting for this deal for a long time.
Have 1 and 2 on a double jewel case pack, can't install them, lots of issues, might just rebuy them digitally.
i tried playing fallout 2 years ago but got bored really fast, i've never been a fan of turn-based strategy/rpg/whatever it is
might as well give it another try
These look pretty fun, I love isometric RPGs. Will definitely buy shortly.

Disregarding my gimmick account name and avatar that make me look like a fanboy, it's impossible for someone to not like a certain genre of games, right?
I still like Fallout 1 and 2, liked them so much I rebought them on steam just to have them. But I can totally understand why someone wouldn't pick them up.

Stay away from BoS though. It's ass.
oh yeah when you play fallout 1 and 2 attempting to go on a rampage in a town is not a good idea
at all
Dammit! I just spent the last of the money on my card on Deus Ex, and the money I transferred to it hasn't been put on yet because it's a weekend.

It's a pain in the ass, and you're going to need plenty of ammo, stimpacks, followers, and decent armor just to do this. In Fallout 3, however, it's piss easy. All you'd need to do is equip a decent weapon with plenty of ammo (SMG or shotgun, looting peoples bodies as well), and run around town gunning down anyone in sight. Since there are multiple cells, you can rush over to any trader and trade in clothes/melee weapons for caps, ammo, and any repairs. Break into any small building as a last resort so you can use the entrance as a bottle neck for hostile NPCs. In FO1 or 2, everyone would just converge on your location (as enemies and friendlies alike would do in STALKER) and blow you to bits.
I've played a bit of Fallout the original.
It was fun but I didn't really stay into it for long.
