Title. I'm planning on going in to a Lucid Dream and I'd like some audio aid. Seriously, shit's creepy without sound.
Probably not. If it does, you'll get new one... what's to lose? Except for gamingtime?
Yeah, I don't recommend it unless you have a way to keep it cool.
ffffffffffffffffffffff
You don't have a radio anywhere?
People in this thread are still living in late 2005. Assuming that you have a Falcon/Jasper chipset, no it will not.
Maybe his is from 2006?
Hence I said "Assuming", since most people have the newer revisions now. [editline]05:16PM[/editline] The rate of failing X360 due to overheating is just as low as the failure rates of PS3 now.
Mine's a Premium bought in late '08. [editline]06:17PM[/editline]
You don't have a radio anywhere?
Nope. Not anymore.
Mine's a Premium bought in late '08.
You'll be fine.
I got mine in late '09 / early '10. Join date elitism? :saddowns:
and how exactly are you going to force yourself in a lucid dream?
my friend has left his xbox on for several days at a time on pause screens in games during the summer. im sure one night of music wont hurt your xbox
Music barely uses any GPU resources (Since most failures from overheating are caused by the old GPU heatsink), you'll be fine.
Chances are you'll be fine. Unless you have it on a rug carpet or next to a heater or something. But if you do that, you don't deserve to own an Xbox.
I doubt it will overheat. I have left mine on for about 5 hours and it was fine. Put it on as many power saving options as possible but without the Xbox turning off.
and how exactly are you going to force yourself in a lucid dream?
don't question my motives also there's a way of doing it
You got a JASPER motherboard? ofso. all you need is that your 360 got enough breath room, and lay it down. It wont overheat. if you play games, then it will overheat, my 360 survived 2 days, turned on and GTA IV was running, still working :downs:
if you have it in a freezer then no,i don't think so
I think people with consoles should explore case modding for situations like this. If you are afraid it will over heat by simply idling and playing music don't you think you should take some affirmative action to stop it? Lian Li makes a great case for xbox 360 = no overheating. or simply get a big fan to cool it down. If you don't want to void your 'warranty' on your console then get a fan :)

Hooking up external fans won't reduce internal temperatures significantly. 3. As I have previous stated, almost all Falcons and Jasper consoles are pretty durable
If you're so worried about it I recommend just using your computer for it.
use thousands of fans xboxes can catch fire
