I bought ArmA 2 retail and OA via steam. So I only get 20% off :(
I really want Operation Flashpoint but I already have ARMA1/2/OA and the DLC.

ARMA Cold War Assault, they renamed OPF
I really hope they make it so I can purchase just Arma Cold War Assault...

I think they'll save that for the new re-release with it on the ARMA2 engine. Still sucks though because I'd really like to play the original.

oh okay, that's awesome
oh okay, that's awesome
Yeah since OPF was published under Codemasters, they have the rights to the name but nothing more than that so they just rereleased it under ARMA for the 10th anniversary, later this year they'll release a Operation Flashpoint remake on the ARMA 2 engine.

The "re-release" is a mod, not a separate game. If you have ARMA2/OA it will be free.

Damn, I already got the dlc. Had I waited this would have been a better deal.
Well I'm glad I held out on buying it for this long.

That's a community project. They're releasing it and they'll be selling it on multiple digital distribution platforms. It'll be free for the people who have a OPF CD Key.
this pack would be a good gift for someone, especially if you get the discounts.
arma II is a pretty good game its just unfortunate that it is so poorly optimised.

And where exactly did you read this? I've never seen Bohemia announce a official re-make of OFP on the ARMA 2 engine. They announced the version that is sold now in this pack on the anniversary day, at the same time when they released a new update for it and renamed it due to Codemasters owning the OFP brand. And yes, this can be downloaded for free as long as you own the original OFP and still have the cdkey.
I think you've gotten the two things mixed up.
We can't buy them separately? :(

I looked at the press release and yeah, I fucked up. Sorry guys.
I want to get like Arma and OP Flashpoint on steam but I already own the two dlc's for arma OA. So whats the point in paying that much for it when I could get the individual things on a different distributor for less money?

Arma III will need a 1st gen i5 and a 5770 v:v:v
