Ok looking to buy 16 of these fro a clients nightclub but need to know if anyone has had experience with this brand? I dont want to get them the cheap FRS radios found at radioshack or walmart. This version looks about right for them as they come with earpieces. Buy two and test them out. Radios are generally pretty hard to go wrong with.
These are Ham radios, not your standard walkie talkies. They can't be used legally without each one of them having a Ham Radio license.
Yeah, he's right, they are portable ham radios, not FRS walkie talkies.
If you made that mistake you really shouldn't have any clients. Also look into motorola walkie-talkies, every business I see that has them for servers/security/managers has them and they are cheap. My dad works in designing the ic's so we have a few around the house and as a kid despite the torture we put them through we never had a problem.
Whoops, I didn't even see that haha. I agree with the above poster. My school had some and they had no problems.

I know i cant use a ham radio with out proper license I can get them motorola radios but I'm look upwards of $200 plus per radio without a batter and no accessories. They dont want to spend that much on one radio and they DO NOT want FRS radios. They have a license for business band operation
