• Can't find a driver for my wireless adapter help!

I recently bought a wireless adapter and I've been trying to install it on my main pc (typing from my laptop) but the cd driver that came with it is shit and doesn't install. It's an "EDUP wi-fi 11g USB adapter". I googled it and everyone says get the proper driver by using the driver update thing. How the fuck am I meant to use the internet to update this thing when I need this adapter to connect to the internet in the first place? That's like saying you can only buy a phone by calling this number, it makes no sense. I connected the adapter to my laptop which has internet access already and it was able to update it but I can't just transfer the drivers over to my main pc because my laptop is running XP but my main pc is running windows 7. What do I do?
Why don't you just plug your computer into a wired ethernet connection to get the drivers?
1) the router is on another floor of the house, which means it would take forever 2) i have no ethernet cables at all, all the connections in my house are wireless 3) i don't know what ethernet is
If you dont know what ethernet is then how do you know you haven't got any cables. It looks like that but really long.
