I am asking... Wait hold on, herp derp spellcheck, everything is underlinde. Thar, fixed. I am asking, to help me in this somewhat noble/a**hole act of getting s**tload of likes on a FB picture. The deal is, when venue decides, that its a good idea to, instead of choose wich bands should play by how good their music is, put everything on FB and let the bands hoard likes, you know s**t is f***ed up. So i am asking you FP-ers, to like the living hell out of this picture, just to prove how ridicoulous this system is... and get us a gig in the process. (Name of the band is there in the picture description, you can check us out on yt if interested, studio recordings coming soon.) Here is the link, much appreciated. Also, its Knoxed's bro, cba to clutter your Members list just for post or two. :)
The system is not ridiculous, you will not get any likes because we all realize your stupidity.
Sadly, if you knew what hillbilies (90% of population over here) consider as good music, some futurama memes would be inbound pretty soon. System only proves how much people you can get to like (directly or indirectly), no more, no less. By your logic, if we get 30k likes out of the blue (just by farming the internet), we are suddently the best band ever and will bring millionbillion people. No, 30 people will show up for us, whatever the likes count.
As a person of internet, I think it would have been easier just to ask people for likes rather than trying to make this out as some kind of ironic rebellion against the system. The venue isn't interested in what kind of music plays, it wants an idea on what's going to be the most popular, and therefore get the most people in. More people = More money. I hope your band does OK though.
"hey guys this competition is stupid, lets show how stupid it is by helping me win it!"

OP why do you censor your curse words?

Thing is, there was a charity festival a while back and they did the same thing... collecting likes. We were #2 by likes and still the "professional" jury decided garage punk bans are way better music than proper rock we do. But hey, it just proves how much redneck this country is. Going over the border would be the best option. :D About the swearing, I didnt read the rules for just that one post, so better safe than sorry.
no
Why.
