New computers mouse wont let me use keys and mouse at same time.

So I just got me an HP Pavilion g4 with windows 7 and I found a pretty big problem in the first few minutes whilst playing minecraft. When I hold down a key, the mouse wont move. This is basically a goddamn handicap for games, because I cannot turn while moving. This even happens out of games. If i hold down a key, the mouse stops and freezes and wont move until I let go of the key. Can someone please help?
Well, first try with another mouse.
yeah that works, but how do i fix it if i just want to use a trackpad?
Oh, TRACKPAD. I had a feeling it was that. It's just configured to be disabled when you're typing to prevent you from accidentally clicking around while you're typing things. Open up Mouse in the control panel and you should see an extra tab there, probably by elantech or something like that. Check the settings and you're bound to find what you're looking for.
Theres no elantech tab that i can find, heres the tabs i have
Hardware
Activities
Device Settings
Pointer Options
Pointers
Buttons
Wheel
No Elantech
Try going in hardware tab, selecting trackpad and seeing if there's any settings there.
nope
It's device settings then, the one with the icon
Yup! I fixed it. Thanks!
