thanks for those apps. but what about products?
Oh, accessories? I'd suggest the Griffin PowerDuo - it comes with a USB cable, car charging brick, and home charging brick. It's a nice way to charge your iProduct when you're away from a computer.
How about a Jailbreak?
Get a case or a cover for it, you'll get scratches on it otherwise.

i will. but which one is good and has some screen protecters
I myself have one of those simple silicone covers, and 3 screen protectors I picked up somewhere else. I got the cover for I believe €15,- and the 3 screen protectors for €5,-.
If you're willing to spend a bit more money I'd get something like this:

Dutch site, but you get the idea.

If you want a sexy ass case and good protection go for switcheasy cases.

If you install really, really dodgy apps then it might crash on occasion, and even then not in day to day use, but you owe it to yourself to jailbreak. Trust me, I got my ipod for christmas, said I'd hold out for an untethered jailbreak, by the end of the day it was jailbroken and I was playing around with it like a pro.
It's so, so good, and pixel heart's suggestion is the only non retarded suggestion s/he's made in /his/her life.

This. I have a neoTouch and I must say it really makes it feel safer. if you can though, go for the rebelTouch, the neotouch has an annoying little bump on the back of the case that makes it annoyingly unstable when you put it down.

This guy speaks the truth. NEVER take it out of the case. The chrome back scratches incredibly easily. The screen won't scratch under normal use at all though, and those screen protectors are a bugger to put on, so I didn't bother. Still looks as good as new.

I've had mine for a year. No scratches. People always asked me "Did you just get this?" "No." "Then how come there's no scratches?"
For a case, I'd recommend a cheap silicon case with a ZAGG InvisibleShield.
Also about the screen protectors, you DON'T need one with a iPod Touch / iPhone because the screens simply don't scratch.

Yeah, glass is tougher than people give it credit for. If you had a plastic/tft screen, you'd want a screen protector, but not with a glass one.
I would get a screen protector just because there's the possibility of putting your iPod in the same pocket as your keys or some other scratchy material. Best Buy does this thing where they put on Ghost Armor (a clear, thin covering on the backng and screen of your iPod) and then put you under warranty for two years. If the armor ever scratches, you can bring it to any participating Best Buy and get it replaced for free.
I had to bring mine in once for a small screen scratch and they replaced the whole armor set.

Another thing to be wary of other than dodgy jailbreak apps is having too much running under Mobile Substrate. It has been improved upon a lot, and crashes are rarer, but having a lot of things that require it running at the same time can lead to disaster, especially if they background themselves.
