What's your current price tag?
I don't want to put all that stuff together in my own basket.
But here it goes
- You only need 4gb of RAM
- You're running a 9800 GTX+ you don't need 850w PSU from OCZ if you're just running one card.
- You could drop the 9800 GTX+ for a faster card, 4870 1GB.
Are you overclocking?
- That motherboard is Crossfire, if you want to do that, get the ATI card.
- You could wait for the 5850 to come out and beat the 4870 by a longshot.
Where are you buying from?
Also I don't think you're going to need a 850 watt power supply, at the most get a 750 but that's probably even still more than you need..
Also what are you planning on using it for, 8gigs of memory is a little much..

sorry i forgot to add the price -.- added now, im getting it from new egg and im going to use it for multi apps at once and gaming or both at the same time ...
also is crossfire better or something? i don't know much about these things :(
does the 5850 come out soon? (i don't want to wait to long)
and whats kind of power supply would u suggest?
Total come out to around $1096.83
Get a Phenom II 965 BE its is better than any core2 quad.
5xxx series are probably too expensive for what he is looking for.
He could get a 4890 when they drop in price.
ok thanks anymore suggestions?
i only taken out 4gb of ram and changed to a 600W psu that cost $49.99(600W is enough right?)
Why do you still have the 9800 GTX+ with a CF motherboard?
4870 is WAAAAAAAY more powerful than the 9800 GTX+ and the 9800 is $10 less than the 4870

woops for got to change that -.- and its $25 less...
still not much more money for lots more performance.
well thanks for the help, i be ordering it soon.
Swap out for 64 bit Windows.
i had the 64bit on there but then i was like ... and i just went with the 32bit cause i just did... lol
but i would like to know whats the difference in the two? is the 64bit faster?
Go with 64-bit. 32-bit can only address 4 gb of ram including vram.

There's an explanation for you bro
o i went back to 32bit cause they said i only needed 4gb but i did not know thta it counted the video ram...
Whoever told you that is computer illiterate.
4GB is great for gaming but 64-bit is always the way to go unless you are using a casual computer(browsing, etc.)
