It's pretty easy, with this software: http://vdubapngmod.sourceforge.net/
APNG is basically like GIF, just much better quality, I guess?
A useful spambot.
Well this is highly unusual, can it be real?
Would rather use that firefox plugin
Why? It can't even LOAD apng.
I'd like to see some GIF to APNG software, then I'd be impressed.
I'd like to see some GIF to APNG software, then I'd be impressed.
I'm working on this too, but 256-colors limitation makes the results not very impressive. The only benefit is that such conversion usually makes files smaller.
Ah so it's not really possible to convert GIF to APNG without the filetype specs clashing? I guess I could just "dismantle" my gifs and make APNG's out of the frames if I really needed to.
No, it's possible. Even with software in the first post. But 8bit GIF -> 24bit APNG conversion usually makes files bigger. What I'm working on is 8bit GIF -> 8bit APNG conversion, that should make files smaller.
